It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lawrence Lloyd Perry after a lengthy illness. Lawrence passed away peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the age of 68 with his loving partner Patricia by his side. Lawrence was predeceased by his mother Joan, his father Lloyd and his younger brother Barry as well as his brother in laws Gordon Butts and Randy Woodcock. Lawrence is survived by his partner Patricia Savoy, his sons Tom(Heather) and Brian (Debra), his brother Brian (Bev) Perry, sister Lillian Butts, Wendy Woodcock and Debbie (Ian) Purvis. Lawrence was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and great grandfather. He will be missed my many of his nieces and nephews.
Lawrence owned his own business supplying oil for Texaco initially and Petro Canada later in the Uxbridge and Port Perry area. He retired his business a few short years ago and is missed by his many clients whom he developed a warm friendship with over the years.
Lawrence enjoyed fine dining, loved visiting casinos and was an avid bingo player.
He will be missed by his buddies at the Kirkland Lake Golf Club where he spent every Labour Day Weekend for several years before he became ill.
A memorial service will be held Labour Day Weekend at the Kirkland Lake Golf Club.
