My dear friend Lawrence,
You are like a father to me and grandfather to my son,
You will be sadly missed as you touch so many life's.
Where ever we went you would always make it well known you were their.
You enjoyed the finer things in life and the best in dining.
Life thew you many curve balls but you stood strong and fought hard, up to the last moment of your life.
A man with a huge heart and very carrying in your own special way.
We had a special relationship because of your stubborn ways, but I always made it a challenge for you because you knew I could, and you enjoyed the challenge.
I am thankful to have had you apart of my life and for that i will always hold you in my heart.
Until we meet again, rest in peace my buddy

It’s taken me time to put my thoughts and emotions together on paper to express my loss of Lawrence
We have been together for over 10 year and many memories.
He was loved by everyone and always made people laugh
He had a kind heart and gave everything he could.
We would travel all the time, weekend trips, day trips and even week long trips.
We had a dream of owning a RV and travel our country and into the states.
Lawrence and I enjoyed traveling to small towns and meeting new people and seeing new things together .
Unfortunately this was all taken away from us over 4 years ago because of diabetes.
But I have the memory of meeting his 2 grandsons from Nova Scotia and seeing how Lawrence loved to spoil them to a weekend at Niagara Falls
Including a helicopter ride and a trip on the maid of mist.
He loved my 4 grandchildren like they were his own.
My Grand daughter Camryn would always open doors for Lawrence and how they would just sit and talk together. He loved her kindness towards him.
These past few weeks have been difficult for us as I watched this strong man get weaker everyday.
The last few days I tried my best to get him the things he enjoyed in life.
One thing that touch my heart was the day Tommy his son was leaving and Tommy❤️ reach his hand out to his father and Lawrence grasped his hand with a firm hand shake.
What a beautiful feeling to see the bond between a father and son with no words spoken .
I am so thankful I was with him as he passed away so I was able to hold his hand and remembering a few days before he had said how much he loved me
and how thankful he was for having me with him.
I was able to say good bye
But I will never forget him.
Please help find a cure for this disease and give a donation to the diabetes association in memory of Lawrence
