Jean and Keith: We are sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She and your Dad were the best neighbours that we could have ever asked for. Ruth became a friend and confidant over the years, and we motivated each other to get up and walk many mornings, even fighting brutal weather from time to time.
She taught me to make pastry after not being successful at it for the first 12 years of my marriage. Of course, even with her shortbread recipe in hand, I could not find that magic touch that made her batches so incredible.
We truly wish that we could have attended the Memorial today for your amazing Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, I just learned about it yesterday, and was committed to serving with a ladies group at another Celebration of Life from 1-4 p.m. in Wasaga Beach.
