Obituary of Raymond Howard FERNS

Raymond Howard Ferns

August 16, 1934 – December 24, 2024

Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the age of 90.  He was in the compassionate care of St. Joseph's Hospital, Palliative Unit.  Ray suffered from dementia/Alzheimer’s disease in the last year of his life.  Survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Doreen Ferns.  Loving father to Leanne (Eric Kuhar).  Devoted grandfather to Ryan and Cady.  Dear brother to Marlene (John Black).  

Ray was loved by many family, friends and business colleagues. He had an infectious personality, sharp with a quick wit.  He had a successful career as President of Zurn Canada and as Director of it's international affiliate, Wade UK.  

Ray will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
