Dear Mrs. Ferns, Leanne, Eric, Ryan, and Cady, please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. I understand that his passing will be deeply felt.
I treasure many fond memories of Mr Ferns , and it seems like only yesterday that we were sitting on the beach at the cottage, sharing some laughs. Leanne, I always held your father in high regard.
I hope that you will all find comfort in the memories you shared with him.

Dear Doreen and Leanne,
I was so sorry to hear the news of Ray`s passing.
Ray was an incredible person, it was a true honor to know him over many years, both as a client and friend. He was always positive, sharp, and of course had the gift of humour that few possess. He will be missed immensely.
I hope that you and your family were able to be together to share good memories of Ray and to celebrate his life.
Take care.

Ray was truly a gem. I had the privilege of knowing him for about 2 years, but even in that short time, he made a lasting impression. He was the first neighbour I met when I moved into my condo and, without a doubt, the sweetest person I've encountered, along with his wife Doreen.
Ray had a way of brightening my day with his humour and clever remarks whenever we crossed paths in the hallway. His wit was unmatched, and his warmth was genuine.
Hearing the news of his passing broke my heart, and I find myself thinking of him every day. His presence was truly special, and the void he leaves is immense. He will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Ray, I will never forget you.
Your loving neighbour,
Gillian

Message from Ralph Thomas (Wade UK Business Colleague) Physically tall and imposing, he had an infectious personality. There were times to be serious and times to lighten up, and Ray brought this characteristic into his business career, such that people warmed to him. I well remember how he would make a seemingly outrageous remark, maintaining a straight face while awaiting a reaction. This often confused people who did not know whether Ray was joking or whether they had misheard him. Ray would hold a silence before bursting out laughing with gusto to the great merriment all around.
Everyone recognized Ray as a genuine, honest and fair-minded person. I am so pleased to have known him. He enriched my life and that of many others. We are all the poorer and saddened by his passing.

Ray was the type of person that could light up a room just from him walking in it!
My sincere condolences to Mrs. Ferns, Leanne and the rest of the Fern family.
