Günter Ernst (Ernie) Schneider

March 9, 1934 – September 3, 2024

Passed on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Matthew’s House Hospice in Alliston in his 91st year.

Ernie was born in Berlin, Germany on March 9, 1934.

He immigrated to Canada in 1953 and met his wife of 54 years in Toronto, Elsie May Bunting (predeceased 2010). They had three children Lloyd (Donna), Heide (Jason) and Shaune (Shelly). 6 grandchildren Alicia (Scott), Krista, Aundrea, Jason (Danielle), Zachary and Brody. 5 great grandchildren Noah, Shaun, Evan, Eloise and Malcolm.

Loving partner to Linda Bowman for 13 years from Dundalk, ON.

Ernie will be greatly missed but never forgotten by many friends and extended family.
