Dear Schnider family, I was so sad to hear the news about Ernie passing on. Back in the day the families would all get together weather it was for Christmas or for no reason at all we would all have dinner together talk have drinks, dance while the children would all play. Ernie would talk about Germany and he would always make us laugh and smile. The family times together were always the best and those memories will always be with me. A lot has happened since back then, we have lost so many of the family members that made these gatherings happen. My deepest condolences for the loss of your Opa, father and dear friend. Ernie was such a loving soul that you just couldn’t help but love him. He became like family to me very fast. Always welcoming me with his bright smile. His life stories never grew old and I feel honoured that he shared some with me and even more honoured to be trusted with his “sweet puppy” Jack, who was always so excited to be reunited on our visits ♥️ I am really going to miss seeing his infectious smile, having our little talks about days gone by, and seeing how much he loved his Linda! My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family at this difficult time.
