David Kokosin
July 9, 1967 - November 23, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of David Kokosin announce his passing on November 23, 2023 at the age of 56. David, fondly known as Dave, Pop, and Papa, was born to Rudy and Nanda Kokosin, on July 9th 1967 in Toronto, Ontario.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and partner of 33 years, Sharon; children Katelynd (Reese), and Kyle (Nicole); grandchildren Kaleb, Mae, and Damien; brother Robert (Andrea); brother in law David and sister in law Brigitte; cousin Terry (Phil) and family, Bridget (Tim) and family; nephews Travis and Jaccob, and nieces Venetia (Lee), Chanelle and Maddy; friend and family to Tracey and Joe, Julie and Larry.
He was predeceased by his parents Rudy and Nanda; in laws Donald and Joanne; nephew Jason and his grandmother Mary; brother in law Glenn; and his “Boys” Charlie and Griffin.
Dave was the family photographer for many years, he loved woodworking, playing cards with friends and family, movies, music, and cherished the memories that he made at Christmas.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday December 2nd 2023 at Symposium (3055 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON, L5L 3R8) from 1pm-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made in David Kokosin’s name to: Diabetes Canada, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, or St Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Home Care and St Joseph’s Hospital, and for the love and support of Liz and all of our family and friends.
