Dear Donna, Glenn, Richard and Dane, I'm so sorry about your loss of Darren. It's been years since our families connected, but I haven't forgotten you. My heart truly aches for all of you. From what I have read, he was such a wonderful young man and will be deeply missed. My condolences from both my children and myself to Darren's family and everyone lucky enough have had him touch their lives. Even though our lives took us in different directions, there will always be wonderful memories of beach weekends, poker games and summer carnivals.He was a very genuine and generous person and always called on the hottest days to invite the kids over to the family pool. My girls will never forget how fast he could get those carnival strawberries spinning or how he was always willing to get into the Sauble water with Cassie no matter how chilly even when the rest of us wussed out. May he rest in peace.

Dear Donna and Family
We are very sad to hear of Darren's passing.
As neighbors we all watch out and look out for one another, if there is anything we can do Donna ..we are right next door.
Doug often speaks of the time he was "Santa's Helper " for Darren's young son ( at that tIme ) Dane who was extremely excited to see Santa for REAL and Darren was over the moon grateful .
Dane ran and jumped into Santa;s arms and we all gasped..
Cherished memories are such a comfort,
