Obituary of Hazel Joyce IRELAND

August 28, 1922 - May 28, 2023

"How many tear drops have I cried over you? A million and one tears A million and Two".

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Joyce Ireland (Mercer) In her 101st year.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Gordon Ireland. Loving mother of Gail (predeceased by Bob) Thomas (Caroline) and Brad (Holly). Cherished grandmother (nanny), great grand mother and great great grandmother to many grandchildren. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Hazel was one of 14 children. Being one of the strongest women we knew.She lived independently in her home until one month before she passed. She spent the last month still with good spirits laughing, singing with her family around her and telling everyone how much she loved them.  She was well known for her love of animals and her great love of Elvis and music.  We will miss her dearly but know she is always with us and in our hearts forever. We have so many memories that will now be such a precious gift to us all in the days ahead without her here. 

Time to get those well-deserved wings.
