The last time I got to see your sweet smile was game two of the leafs in the second round and you kept screaming “GIVE IT SOME GAS LEAFS” and I could not stop laughing, I will always and forever love my sweet great grandma hazel she was the queen to this family and the light in life everyone needed. Nan you were one of those people I thought would always be here. The strength you had right up to the day you passed was unbelievable. I hope I get that from you. Not many people can stay as long as you did and live independently right up to the end. I have so many memories that keep popping into my head of growing up with you. Learning to swim in your pool, going to kindergarten from your house , and always hearing you hum along to the music while you twirled your hair. The last month I got to spend with you I was so happy to hear you laugh and sing . You were so strong right till the end. Nanny say hi to Gunga for me. Tell him I laugh everytime I hear the Elvis song "She wears my ring" that he would attempt to sing and you would be so bothered he even thought he could sing your beloved Elvis. We knew he was just doing it to get you going. I love you Nanny .
