Obituary of Marilyn Ethel THOMPSON

MOM

We once were young,

another’s child,

Not born of your flesh and bone, but there you were, you cared for us, as if we were your own.

Just to say thank you is not enough, the debt is far too deep, there’s a place for you within our hearts,

a place we’ll ALWAYS keep. 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Ethel Thompson at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of the late James Edward Thompson. Loving mother of James (Jim) Thompson (Leah) and Janet Lynne White (Brad), cherished grandma of Tatyana Feiner and Branden White. Marilyn was a beautiful soul who wore a constant smile and was a friend to many. She especially cherished her “condo buddies” at her “little condo” in Shelburne Ontario.

She will be missed by many friends and family.

As per Marilyn’s wishes, there will not be a public funeral. Cremation has already taken place and a private family service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to your local SPCA in her honour.
