I met monas daughters Crystal and Jenn when I moved into Crystals building in collingwood in 2005. We became fast friends. Good friends. It doesn’t matter how many years go by I can message Crystal and it fells the same. Mona raised strong vibrant girls and it’s a testament to who Mona was. She loved her girls dearly. Aunt Mona was truly an amazing Aunt and an amazing person. She was always there when you needed someone to talk to. I could always go to her and open up about anything. Aunt Mona would never judge and she would give her best advice. She always opened her door when I needed a place just to get away. Even when amber and I were younger, I would go over for a week at a time and Aunt Mona would never say no. All those crazy adventures amber and I would have and all those drives home in that van. Aunt Mona had a lot of patience and would let us just be kids. She is missed dearly by all of us. We love and miss you Aunt Mona.

I am very sorry to hear of this sad news. My sincerest condolences to Mona‘s family. Mona and I were childhood friends and grew up together. She lived across the street from me and I spent more time at her house than I did my own. Her mom and dad were wonderful people. We lost contact as sometimes friends do, but we always kept in touch. I have, and always will cherish the wonderful memories that I shared with Mona. R. I.P my friend

Oh Mona where do I start I met her in Malton when I moved to sledman st cross the street from her and we had an instant connection. I still have the little luv cards u gave my brother John. U were one of the most loving people I've ever known. Lots of good memories with u. Here is a funny one we were at the drive in with our boy friends at the time we went to the snack place came back and got in the wrong car omg lol. Going to rocky horror oh man so many good times . Def gonna b missed my luv always rip hun
