Obituary of Susan Rose HUNTER
August 3, 1972 - February 5, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Rose Hunter (Fievet) at the age of 50. Susan was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on August 3rd, 1972 to Vivian Goly (Josef) and Robert Fievet (Predeceased). As the youngest of seven siblings, she was loved by Robert Fievet (Jeanie), Stephen Fievet (Gina), Wendy Maw (Gary), Ronnie Fievet (Debbie), Bonnie Palermo (Stefano) and Michael Fievet (Lisa).
Susan put her roots down in Ontario, settling in Orangeville and now leaves behind her daughters, Jacklyn and Madison. She was a treasured aunt to countless nieces, nephews, and their children.
She was a gracious host who loved to dance, entertain friends and plan family get togethers.
Susan had a passion for animals and her dog, Cinnamon was a light in her life.
Her drive for helping others was evident as she was a respected 911 operator for 18 years. She will be missed by the firefighters & dispatchers from the Guelph Fire Department, her second home since 2009.
Her heart always longed for the sea and she enjoyed vacationing on the East Coast.
A Celebration of Life has been planned for Susan on Friday February 17th from 12:00pm to 3:00 pm at In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. Located at 28 Main Street North Grand Valley Ontario, L9W 5S7. There will be words of remembrance beginning at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Badges of Life Canada which assists in empowering Community Safety Personnel and their family with post operational stress injuries.
