What I recall fondly about Aase was her wonderful ditties at special occasions. The last time I saw Aase was at my Uncle Otto's 75th Birthday (he is now 95), I believe, where she composed one of her clever poems as a tribute to Otto.
I have one of Aase's lovely paintings which hangs in my studio.
She was a Capricorn, like me, and we shared many interests: painting, writing and nature.

I talked to Osa earlier this year and have been trying to reach her for the past few months until today when I stopped by her place and was told of her passing. I'm so sorry not to have been there for her and send my heartfelt condolence to her family. She always shared her photos and love for all of you and I felt like I knew you all well through her. Every time we got together there was a photo to be taken and many shared. I'm blessed to have had her as a great friend and will miss her caring and often humorous ways. Love you - from Sharon

Osa and Arne took two very young immigrants into their hearts and family. We became life long friends and will always be grateful for their love and friendship. We will miss you Osa.

My deepest, sincere condolences to all of Osas children. My heart is broken for all of yous. I worked at Kingsmere for 2 years and this is where I fell in love with her. I was concierge so she knew where to find me anytime that she needed me. We spent quite a bit of time together when we would try and put one of her beautiful art pieces onto a card, we did it but with a lot of laughter. A day did not go by that she didn't come to my desk to make me laugh. She was the high point of my work day. As she would enter the lobby, she would state loudly " here comes trouble" with that special giggle she had. It has always bothered me that I could not say good bye to her when I left Kingsmere but I can now tell her that as God has a very special Angel with him now and I am so sure that she has everyone with her just laughing and carrying on. She always said that she wanted to do something special for me for all that I did and I told that seeing her everyday was the most special thing ever. Yous are in my thoughts.
Love
