Obituary of Rosemary Elizabeth COLLEY

COLLEY, Rosemary Elizabeth May 24, 1945 - May 15, 2022 Rosemary Elizabeth Colley (nee Oatt) passed peacefully 15 May 2022 Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Orillia. Rosemary is survived by her loving husband and best friend James E. Colley, resident of Matthew’s Place Hospice. Rosemary was a sweet loving mother, survived by her cherished children Darnell McIntosh, Dianne McIntosh and Dorothy (Drew) Spraggett. Rosemary (mom) would tell it like it is, stand up for what is right and tell us all to put one foot forward each day. Rosemary loved deeply and was proud of her grandchildren, Kyle, Nicole, Krystal, Jayde, Brooklyn and Devin. Rosemary was a strong women, mother and devoted and loving wife. Rosemary held a special place in her heart for, and will be dearly missed by Jennifer Di Paolo and her sister Susan Holloway (Oatt), and predeceased brother William Oatt. Cremation has taken place and the family will gather for a private service as Rosemary wished. Rosemary was known for her green thumb and her gardens. She was a thoughtful, honest women who volunteered her time in many organizations over the years where she formed long lines of friendships. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses Rosemary/Mom encountered over this difficult month. Celebrate her life, when you hear a windchime or you enjoy a garden, you will know she is by your side. We ask that you take a moment of time to pass an act of kindness to another in her honour.
