I'd like to add an appreciative word as I knew Doug in the early '90's. We played basketball together, shared many meals, even housing for a short period of time . . . he was like a father to me. Gentle, kind, funny, thoughtful, intelligent. Although I hadn't seen Doug in many years those memories hold fast. This amazing life slips by so quickly. Thank you Doug!

Condolences to you Aunt Leah and Doug’s family and friends. I have fond memories of Doug helping me out and even giving me some small drafting jobs when I first graduated from Interior Design school. I so appreciated the opportunity he gave me and his amazing sense of humour through it all:)

For you Doug, love and prayers for your journey home. Much gratitude for many reasons, the highlights of which are ~ the lightness and the laughter your keen and quick sense of humour brought all of us, for your patient help putting my workshop in order and most importantly for the love and happiness you brought to and shared with dear Leah.We are all so fortunate that our paths crossed with yours in this life time. My condolences to your family.

Dear Leah and family,
I loved that guy! He always had a joke, a smile, a witty remark for everyone he met!
I first met Doug at the tai chi centre about 25 years ago, where he charmed
many of us with his good humor and kind manner. I will always be grateful he
introduced me to you and your reiki workshops, Leah. You were such a loving, happy
couple, and blessed with many happy years together.
So sorry for your loss, glad he is at peace now...but he will be deeply missed by many.
hugs from Helena Woodland
