Obituary of Dennis John BARROW

Dennis John Barrow March 18, 1941 – September 22, 2021 Dennis John Barrow passed away peacefully at Matthews House in Alliston just after 6:00 am on Wednesday September 22, 2021 after being diagnosed with lung cancer only 10 weeks earlier. Our family extends our gratitude to the staff at Matthews House for the care dad received. Dennis will be sadly missed by his four daughters Kelly (Kirk Smith), Teresa (Reece Lirette), Marni (Julie Prendergast), Casi (Wayne Smith), his six grandkids, Kirby and Konar Smith, Brie and Dawson Lirette, Kylie and Jacob Mitchell, stepmother Joyce Barrow and sister Jill Fleming, sisters-in-law, Susan Barrow and JoAnne Barrow as well as his nephews and their families David, Kevin, Chris, Robert, Mike, Ricky and Austin. Predeceased by father John Barrow and mother Ruth Barrow, his brothers Ted Barrow and Bill Barrow, and Nephew Brody. Dennis will be remembered for his kind soul and quick wit. He loved to socialize and would offer his financial advice to anyone who would listen. Dennis loved his numbers, horse racing, flying model planes, playing poker and billiards. Rest in peace, Dad.
