Obituary of Leo Arthur EWING

EWING, Leo Arthur (retired Mississauga Fire Fighter) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Leo on September 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with Leukemia and Lupus. Beloved husband to Bonnie of 58 years and loving father of Rick, and Lori (Tim). Cherished Grandpa of Meg (Kyle), Allysha (Eric), Kate (Matt), Jaclyn (Nate) and Great Grandpa to Lilly. Brother to Richie, Dave and Arthur. Leo enjoyed a 32 year career as a Mississauga Fire Fighter, it was a career that was a natural fit for him as he truly enjoyed helping others. In Leo's spare time he loved getting together with family and friends along with his trusty guitar and entertained all with his great Elvis impersonation. He will live forever in our hearts. A special thanks to Dr. Yee and her team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and to the nursing staff and palliative care team at Headwaters Health Care Centre. A celebration of life will be held at Liberty North in Barrie on Saturday Oct 23rd from 3-7pm.
