Although I knew Gailen my entire life, it is only in the past several years that we became close.I know how close she was to her daughters and granddaughters and how proud she was of all of them. She would always update us on their coming and goings and accomplichments at our extended-family Sunday dinners. She will be missed in her place at the table.
