My name is Emily, I am a chef at the retirement home where Joan lived for the remainder of her years. My condolences to all family and friends who had the honour of knowing Joan. She had such a beautiful soul and kind heart and I had the great privilege of getting to prepare dinner and personally serve it to Joan whenever I could. I will always cherish the times I brought in my mother and my 1 year old daughter to visit her. She will be deeply missed at Victoria Place.
