December 9, 1944 - August 24, 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilfred Glenn Reid in his 76th year. Glenn as he was known passed away peacefully at Matthew's House Hospice surrounded by love from his entire family. Loving husband to Nancy (predeceased) for 35 years, and proud caring father to Danny (Kim), Kristina (Mark) and Andrew (Sarah). Loving grandfather to Jacob, Bailey, Macey, Cody, Jesse, Quinton, Tia, Lexi, Charley, Esabella, Alexander, Laura, Joshua, Kyle and Skylar. Proud great grandfather to Cole, Chase, Cassidy and Callie. Animal lover to Duke, Max and Mitsy, Cleo, Patches and Princess. Glenn ran a catering business for many years in town and then proceeded to drive a flower truck for South Western Floral. Glenn would stop at all the local flower shops to catch up on all the chit chat going on around town. Glenn knew his flowers and dedicated many years to the industry. Glenn retired a number of years ago and moved to Shelburne with his wife and animals. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to send a huge thank you to Headwaters Hospital. To the incredible staff at Matthew's House Hospice, words cannot express how grateful we are for the care and compassion you gave so freely. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation. A private service will be held on August 28th, 2020 for the family.
