To Nancy, Bug, Chief, Ace. I remember Wadey as a little boy in his red peddle car scooting around the block in his fedora on Wallace Ave. Those were more safe times when whole neighborhoods watched out for our kids. One time a girlfriend and I took Wade along with us to the R.O.M. and there was a statue of David at the main entrance While we were looking at the program, Wade wandered over and gave David's junk a good feel ha!. Had to get him clear of that real quick. He was a nice little boy and we enjoyed taking him along with us to Riverdale Zoo etc. Became an even nicer man.
On a trip to the Yukon, Wade had one of his lady friends snuggle up to me at a store counter to make a pass. Quite a joker. Always looking for a laugh. He and a pal George spent a summer in Whitehorse tenting out of town by a Beaver Dam and had to keep on the move as the authorities didn't look to kindly on that.
A great guy who will be missed.

To Nancy, Bug, Chief, Ace and the rest of the family, our hearts are broken on hearing of the loss Wade the big guy! Nancy, it feels like we raised our kids together through Lacrosse and Hockey, Cathy and I will always treasure the times we spent at the rinks and all those road trips! Wade defined the meaning of life, love, and family, he will be sadly missed as I'm sure you do already.
To the Boys, it was an honor to have the opportunity to work with you lads through Lacrosse, those years enriched my life and I will always be thankful for that.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Wade. I work with Ace and Bug and they are 2 of my favorites (don't tell the others lol), they are great guys who obviously had some great parenting. Wade used to drop in at Victoria Yard from time to time over the years and he was always smiling. Wade will be missed dearly. Please know that my heart goes out to all of you and all of Wade's extended family and friends. May his memory bring you peace. xo Lisa

Dear Nancy and Boys,
We are so sad to hear about "uncle" Wade's passing. We haven't seen you all in a long time, but I have very fond memories of when we were kids, getting together. Reading the obituary tells me that I remember Wade exactly as he was... lots of fun, an awesome stroy teller, and always the life of the party. We are thinking of all of you in this difficult time.

I had the privilege of working with Wade many times over his career. He was ALWAYS quick with a joke and willing to do whatever he could do to help. Wade was one of those guys that if you needed a hand with a project, you touched base with Wade. Working with and seeing the true character Braedon and Aaron bring to Victoria Yard is the best tribute Wade could ever get. His sons are great men and I can see a lot of Wade in them.

To all of you from all of us. We are saddened by the news of Wade's passing. Aunty Diane Vanier told us while ironically we were right where I met Wade for the first time. The cottage... I so remember you coming in with the boys and being introduced to you all as Peter's nephew girlfriend summer of 1990... that was 30 years ago :) but when I was told the boys names I vowed if I ever was blessed with a son I would name him Braedon. It was the first time ever hearing that name and I loved how it was spelt ... switch around the E and A in bread :) Well I did end up marrying Peters nephew 3 years later and we did name our only son Braedon after your son. I kept that name in mind for 11 years.Wade made us all laugh so hard at the cottage and was always the life of the party. I had to share this little story as if it were not for Wade and Nancy our now 19 year old would never have got his name. Nancy and all 3 of you boys and your extended Families, we hope that time eases the pain you now feel and may you be flooded with all the good memories you have all shared. I can and always will be able to picture Wade in that corner of the Bunny Barn, banging on the glass, cheering on the Northmen. He loved watching the boyzzz play and rarely missed a game.
