I was saddened to hear of Bryan’s passing. My thoughts are with his family at this time. One of the memories that I have of Bryan is his willingness to take us out “cruising” in his green Ford Galaxy 500 on a Saturday night and then stop off at the Diary Queen/Barbecue King for a milkshake or burger before heading home. Lots of laughs and stories on those nights.

Hi Nancy. You may not remember me but I spent a few weeks at your farm with my friend Janet Atkinson in the summer of 1969 (or thereabouts). I certainly remember Brian as a quiet and kind teenager who took us to a drive in movie at one point. He seemed genuinely interested in farming and in your new pig barn, which was very new and modern at that time. I always wondered about you as we had such a great time riding Paddy and Nestle, and falling off Dolly. It looks like you married Phil who was also at your farm that summer. Please accept my condolences for Bryan and your other brother Wayne (I believe.) It’s not easy losing siblings, especially at such a young age. Thank you for giving me happy memories of speershome farm. Warm regards to you, Phil and your family.

We recently found out that Bryan passed away. Our deepest condolence to the family of Bryan Speers. Bryan has been our farmer for over forty years..He was such a wonderful man and truly loved his farming life. Our last conversation was about the weather and his 70th Birthday party at the Mandarin
Rest in peace Bryan you will be truly missed

We were so saddened to hear of Bryan's passing. We just found out recently and, unfortunately, we missed his service. We'd like to send our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Speers family and to the farming community. Bryan was such a kind and gentle soul and a good friend. He had such love for his animals and for farming (the old fashioned way). He always had some interesting stories to tell. We will certainly miss you, Bryan. Deborah Robillard and Andrew Sharko, Caledon Village.

So sorry to hear about Bryan’s passing. A memory that I have of Bryan is his willingness to take us all cruising on Saturday night in his green Ford Galaxie 500 and to the Dairy Queen/Barbecue King for a milkshake or a burger. Lots of laughs and stories!

Bryan was a kind humble man. He was more than a cousin to my Dad Jim they were best friends. He will be greatly missed by our family. Christmas and Thanksgiving diners will not be the same. We are thankful for the time we had with him and the beautiful hay field he helped up bring back to life.
May you rest easy and be free of all pain
