Obituary of Mildred Eileen BLAIR
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mildred Eileen Blair (Millie), on February 10, 2020, at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. It is a joy she is free of pain and in Heaven. Millie was born in Baie Verte, New Brunswick, youngest of nine children, and lived most of her adulthood in Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Robert Russell Blair (Bob), she is survived by her children Randy (Janice), Kevin (Laurie), Sandra, Liane (Keith), her grandson Brodey, step-grandchildren Jordan (Jake) Bakker- Harper; Brittany (Darren) Skiva – Cali, as well as Millie’s siblings, Margaret, Mary and Brent (Faye) and many nieces and nephews. Millie was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a long-term employee at Shoppers Drug Mart for 37 years where she worked mainly as a Merchandise Manager. Living life to the fullest, Millie loved to play bridge, quilt, socialize, travel with Bob, Christmas, family get-togethers, and entertaining. She volunteered at the Bennett Health Care Centre nursing home. Special thanks to Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial staff for the great care. In memory, contributions can be directed to a Charity of Choice. Celebration of Life Service to be held at Living Hope Alliance Church, 292 Main Street South, Georgetown at February 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. receiving line 1 p.m.
