Obituary of John Douglas Scott

Scott, John Douglas Passed away at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Patricia Anne Scott for 62 years; loving father of Terri Vanderwerf (John) & Gail Cribb (Dave); much loved Papa of David (Kendra) & Julie (Deron) and great Papa of Claire; honorary Papa of Nadim, Chris and Sarah. He will be missed by many family and friends. Doug was an avid snowmobiler and boater. He enjoyed sports, canoeing, traveling and renovating. The family would like to thank Dr. French, Yasmin, Amy and all Bayshore nurses, the nurses on D wing and the Oncology staff. A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with words of remembrance taking place at 1:00 p.m. at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, On. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Headwaters Health Care Centre or The Canadian Cancer Society.
