I am deeply saddened to notice in the Orangeville Banner that Gerald has passed away, I used to work with him about 10 or more years ago at J.J.K. furniture, I sat right across from him every day at lunch time, he was a great conversationalist and story teller, he will be missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Gerry Steeves at this time and always. I had the pleasure of working with Gerry at JJK Furniture in Orangeville about 10 years ago and he was such a kind and gentle man. He will be missed. Take care and stay strong.

When I was litttle and my mother passed away Gerald's parents looked after me for awhile. I grew to think the world of Gerald and have still all these years. I am sp sorry to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in many years but was aware that he was not well.
He is at peace now with God and is not sick anymore. It was a privelage to have known him and I wish to take this time to give the family my prayersnd to tell you what a great loss to all Gerald will be. God Bless
