My name will not be one you recognize but Meta served us many meals at both locations of Country BBQ and always had a smile and time to chat...whenever we met at the mall or Swiss Chalet she always had time to catch up on family happenings both hers and ours. I am sure it is a great loss for your family to have Meta gone...but take comfort in knowing she brought joy to a lot of people beyond your family...I remember her fondly.

I am deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Meta. I remember working with her at the Country Barbecue for years. Meta loved to laugh and it never felt like work when she was in charge it was a pleasure to know her and work with her. Take comfort in knowing she is remembered fondly even though for me it has been over 25 years. Heaven has another angel.

Meta & me at a dinner dance sometime in the seventies we had Great time's as sister's She was more than a sister we used to set & talk into early hour's of the night when she would have been home to see Mum& Dad I will miss her so much no more we phone call's ' I'm just sorry i never got to say good by but you will always be in my thought's Love you always your sister Ivy Walter & family xx
