Obituary of Valentino Dominic Ricci

RICCI, Valentino passed with his immediate family at his side at Headwaters Health Care Centre on December 12th 2015, at the age of 75. Pre-deceased by parents Michael and Mary, sister Shirley, brother Joe, sister Benita, and sister Karon. Survived by loving wife Rose of 50 years, children Micah and Sarah (David) and Grandchildren Jacob and Mason, as well as siblings’ Natalina, Rudy (Loretta), Georgina, Roger (Carol), Ramona, Venito, Anna, and Christina (John), he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Born and raised in North Bay, he moved to Shelburne in 1970 where he started his career as a respected real estate agent and broker that spanned 30+ years in and around Dufferin County. Member of the Kinsmen Club of Shelburne and K-40, Val was a passionate cook with a newfound appreciation for golf and other sports. He enjoyed travelling with family and friends as well as spending quality time with his two grandsons, but most of all he cherished the time spent with his youngest brother Vinni reminiscing over a glass or two of red wine or brandy. The family would like to thank the Paramedics, ER Doctors and Nurses, and the ICU staff at Headwaters Health Care Centre for their attention and care during this difficult time.
