Obituary of Virginia Muriel Muir

We are sad to announce that well-known Orangeville resident Virginia Muir passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 20, 2016 at the age of 86. Her huge presence will be missed by her friends from Mississauga, Owen Sound, and Orangeville, including those who knew her at Compass Community Church. She was also active at the Seniors Centre. She leaves behind her son, David (Tine) and her daughter, Jennifer Whalen (Ted). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Alicja,Cameron, and Zachary Muir and Amanda and Nicole Whalen. Virginia's family and friends will be celebrating her incredible life at Compass Community Church in Orangeville on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Stronach Cancer Centre at Southlake hopsital in her name.
