Obituary of Jeffrey Teat

Teat, Jeffrey James (1948-2016) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. On Sunday April 17, 2016 Jeff died at home surrounded by his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Nan, proud father of Daniel and Kelly, and loyal brother to Jennifer (Lori) and the late Jim Teat. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Daniel, Marlee, Jeffrey, Braydon and James. He will be forever remembered by his nieces Nancy, Carrie (Jay), Shannon (Mike) and Chelsea and his great nephews Josh and Ryan. Jeff lived his life as a shining example of the importance of family, true friends and helping others. He and Nan were long time members of the extended Brampton Excelsiors lacrosse family. Jeff retired from Domtar but was kept busy being the family ‘handyman’, family advisor and the host of many family gatherings. There is a huge gap in our family now...Jeff was the nucleous. We will miss him terribly. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Sunday, April 24th at Bramalea Lions Hall, 45 Avondale Blvd., Brampton, Ontario from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with celebrations commencing at 12:00 noon. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
