Obituary of Donna Muriel Green

Donna Muriel Green March 27, 1945 - September 8, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna Muriel Green on Thursday September 8, 2016, with family by her side, at Bethell House Hospice in Caledon. Predeceased by parents Marjorie (née Murphy) and Fred, Donna is survived by sisters Beverley and Cheryl (Bob Peatling), brothers Douglas (Barb) (nieces Taryn and Kristin) and Gregory (Kate). She is fondly remembered by aunt, Carole MacLeod, and cousins Martha MacLeod (David Wigg), Hugh MacLeod (Tara Moore-Jones), Arlene FitzPatrick (Philip) and Muriel Hammond Jurczyk (Leck). Her family and friends will remember her for her sense of adventure, cheerfulness, caring nature and spirituality. A tennis enthusiast and avid reader, Donna was a popular instructor with High Park Ski Club for over 30 years who also enjoyed golf and competitive ballroom dancing. Cremation has taken place. A private gathering to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at Bethell House for their warmth, kindness and attentive care. May the Good Lord hold her in his arms forever.
