Dear Harv, we began over 50 years ago, young and in love. Way too young. We both took different paths until fate intervened, with a little help from Gloria and we touched bases again. Older and wiser, but still caring for each other and good friends. Over the past nine and a half years we've shared many phone calls, coffees, memories, laughter and some very heated debates. I'm clearly not the kind of woman you like to deal with. And yet.....our friendship endured. I will miss your calls, your familiar greeting in that deep voice and your laughter with me and sometimes at me. How I wish we'd had another ten or more years to share our friendship and deep affection. Happy Trails, Cowboy.... until we meet again. S.L.

Harford (Harvie or Harv) was born in 1944 to his parents Genevieve Chenier (nee: Robertson) and Sidney Chenier. He was the eldest of their five children. While still in his teens, Harv helped our Mother to keep the family home going when our Father left. He enjoyed fishing and loved his boat. Checking out garage sales was another of his favourite pass times coming up with some good treasures. Many of his years were spent living in Blackville N.B. just down the road from a long time friend. I wish we'd have spoken to one another a little more. Rest in Peace Harv ...
