Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Curry

CURRY, Frances Elizabeth On September 27th, 2016, surrounded by daughter Mary (Warren), son Gord (Joanne) and her grandchildren, Fran was reunited with husband Lloyd, daughter Janet and son Bill, at the age of 93. Her legacy will be continued through her two cherished children and seven Grandchildren: Bill, Noj, Aisha, Jeremy, Greg, Sandy and Cheryl. She experienced the joys of being a Great-Gramma to Noah, Madysyn, Dylan, Teeghan, Alyssa, Joshua, Katelyn, Jaime, Bryce, Miyako, Brody, Aubrey and Aiden. Fran will be dearly missed by her sister Irene Dobson (nee Woodland), brother-in-law Ross Dobson and her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances Elizabeth Curry (nee Woodland) was born February 26th, 1923 in Orangeville, Ontario. Fran was married to Lloyd Harvey Curry in 1942 and later welcomed their two sons and two daughters into the world. Fran was an active spirit who enjoyed hosting guests and spending time with her loved ones. Her hobbies included playing bridge, gardening, bird-watching and knitting. She was a community volunteer and a member of the Orangeville Curling Club, where Lloyd was also the Club President. A private celebration of Fran's life was held at the Lord Dufferin Centre on Saturday, October 1st 2016. Fran's family would like to sincerely thank Randy Mugford and Emma Bryan of In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc for helping make her celebration so special. Our beloved Fran will be incredibly missed, but her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
