Obituary of Brennen Shane Melen

Brennen Shane Melen, 28, passed away on October 5th ,2016 in his home located in Amaranth. Born in Orangeville, he was the son of Don Melen and Carol MacKay, and step son of Lisa Edwards. Brother to Jerilyn Melen and step brother to Ryan and Ian Edwards. He attended Erin District High School and enjoyed his work as a heavy machine operator. Brennen had a love for being outdoors, dirt biking, fishing, and camping. He also loved taking his dog Diesel (which he nicknamed oil spill) and Jerilyn’s dog Cooper (which he referred himself as uncle bren bren) on trails and for swims in the pond. Brennen cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his humorous and care free personality that everyone was naturally attracted to. Brennen left this world way too early but left behind memories to last us a lifetime. The memorial service will be held on October 21 at 4pm to 8pm at The Erin Legion – 12 Dundas Street East, Erin. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made in person at the memorial service.
