Obituary of Don Rivet

Rivet, Donald Passed away peacefully on Monday November 11, 2019 after a brief illness at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 69. Beloved and devoted husband of 20 years to Cheryl (nee Peterson). Loving father of Danny, Lisa (Brian), stepfather of Michael (Ashley), Leanne (Chris). Proud Grandpa of Malcom, Letishia, Malissa, Tristen, Hayden, Taylor, Cole, Logan, Camron, Xander, Lincoln and Vanessa. Great – Grandfather of Hunter and Harper. Dear brother of Raymond (Marie – Claire), Gisele (Traven) and Lynn (Paul). Godfather of Traven Jr. Predeceased by his sister Claudette and his parents Anita and Lucien. Don was a wonderful, loyal master and companion to his beloved Taya and Paris. Friends and family will be received at the Shelburne Agricultural Centre, 377 William Street, Shelburne for a Celebration of Life from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday November 24, 2019. Cremation has taken place. Spring internment will be held at the Shelburne Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his mother and father in law, Lois and Garnet Peterson. If desired, donations can be made to Autism Ontario or Teen Challenge Canada Inc. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Rivet Family.
