Obituary of Lorne Douglas Van Wyck

Van Wyck, Lorne Douglas Past Member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Erin Branch #442, Masonic Lodge and the Erin Lions Club. Proud Operator of Lorne Van Wyck Trucking for 25 years Lorne passed away peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Wednesday May 31, 2017. Beloved husband of Betty; loving father to Gary, Greg and Doug (Natasha); cherished Papa to Cody and Grandpa to Mackenzie; loved by his sisters Norma, Leona, Laura and Agnes. Lorne is predeceased by his brothers Rex, Dennis and Jimmy. He will also be sadly missed by his many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Lorne’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Erin Branch 442 - 12 Dundas Street East, Erin Ontario, N0B 1T0 on Wednesday June 7th, 2017 at 1pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time with a reception to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethell Hospice.
