Obituary of Stanley Peter Poremba

Stanley Peter Poremba, 72, of Caledon East passed away the morning of Tuesday November 7th, at Bethell Hospice. He fought a courageous battle against Cancer. Survived by his Mother Irene, his three children, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Amanda, his siblings, Edward (Dale) and Diane, and friend Ann. Predeceased by his Father John. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Stanley was born June 22, 1945 in St. Catherines, Ontario. He was a farmer and then a respected millwright until his retirement. He loved fishing, camping and the outdoors year-round. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his humble nature. Special thanks to his care team as well as the staff at Bethell Hospice for comforting and supporting Stan and his family during his final days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his Memory to Bethell Hospice Foundation in Inglewood, Ontario.
