Obituary of Jeanne Marie Braund

BRAUND, Jeanne Marie (nee THERIAULT) Born October 17, 1924 and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Bennett Health Care Centre in Georgetown, ON at age 94. She will be missed forever by her children Brenda (Mark), Carmen (Don), Linda (Harold) Bartz, Jeanette and Carl. Nana Jeannie will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Deen (Calvin), Jason (Katarina), Dagan (Brieann), Daniel, Dominic, Richard, Shane, Cameron, Michael, Lindsay, Rachelle and Natalie and her great-grandson William Darcy. Jeanne Marie was predeceased by her parents Occida and Anna Theriault, sisters Leona (Will) and Anastasie (Edmond) Boudreau and brothers Vilbon (Nadine) and Henri (Madeleine) from Les Iles de la Madeleine, QC, where her life began. Infinite thanks to our sister Carmen for her tireless dedication and kindness throughout the past 6 years in generously providing compassionate care towards the well-being of our mother. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care our mother received at the Bennett Health Care Centre in Georgetown. Our thanks to all who lovingly supported Jeanne Marie in friendship and acquaintance throughout her life. She will be forever missed by those who knew her and never forgotten by those who loved her. A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Ave., North York, M2M 3R7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society are appreciated. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Braund Family.
