JOHN KOK BENG CHEW Pronounced ‘Quo Ming’, meaning ‘Light of the Country’ John transcended from this life in Peace and Love At Toronto Western Hospital, Thursday on April 12, 2018 in his 81st year. He is predeceased by his loving wife Chrystalla (Dean and Karla Shed), And children, Christine, Ken, Jo-Ann and grandchildren and Tara Chew (Stephen Renner) and grandchild Giulietta. John had a beautiful, big family and predeceased his loving 2 brothers, 5 sisters and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of John’s life will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Church of St Mary Magdalene, 477 Manning Road, Toronto at 11.00 am. Donations in John’s memory may be made online to Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities – Hospice Palliative Program or Journey Home Hospice, Hospice Toronto (New residential hospice for homeless individuals) In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Chew Family.
