Obituary of Gord Graham

Gord Graham December 31, 1943 - April 19, 2018 Peacefully passed away in his 75th year with his wife by his side on April 19, 2018 from cancer at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale. He is cherished forever by his wife Christina of 35 years; Deeply missed by his brother Stan (Anne), sister Gloria and predeceased by sister Sheila; stepfather to Tarra and predeceased by stepdaughter Barbie. Brother in law to Andrea (Tom) and John; . Predeceased by sister in law Leah (David); Uncle to Michael and Alex. Lovingly remembered by Gabe, Susan, Chantel, Gabe Jr and Destiny, firefighting brothers and sisters and many, many friends he so easily made over the years. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Markdale Hospital for your care and compassion and to Dr. Sandra McIntosh for your extra special care. Gord was a proud firefighter with the North York Fire Department for 25 years, from which he retired in 1995. He spent many years volunteering at the Toronto Fire Toy Warehouse. He was a remarkable pool player, a game he loved with a passion. He loved sports. Above all Gord was a thoughtful, giving, wonderful man and will be forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held on Saturday April 28th, 2018 at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre (633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario) from 2:00 pm. - 6:00 pm. with Words of Remembrance and a Bell Ringing Ceremony at 4:00 pm. Donations in lieu of flowers in Gord’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army and would be appreciated by the family. Rest in peace dear Gordie. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc.
