Obituary of Katherine Bonnie Downey

DOWNEY, Katherine Bonnie Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday April 20, 2018 at Headwaters Health Care Centre at the age of 67. Cherished wife of Douglas George Downey; loved mother of Christopher (Michelle); beloved grandmother to Victoria; sister to Linda (Don) Norris and Patricia (Robert) McKeown; daughter in law to George E. Downey and Mary A. Downey; sister in law of Linda (Dave) Richards, Colleen (Don) Leadlay, Maureen (Ruddy) Holmes and Michael Downey. Katherine will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Dr's and Nurses at Headwaters emergency and ICU for their exceptional care and professionalism with Katherine. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Katherine's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Headwaters Health Care Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
