Obituary of Jean White

White, Jean (Vaughan) April 18 1953 - May 13 2018 Peacefully passed away with her husband and daughter at her side on May 13, 2018 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus. She is cherished forever by her husband Jim of 45 years. Loving mother to Don and Jen (Scott); beloved grandmother to Tyler and Justin Mason.Deeply missed by her brothers and sisters Bill (Elenor) Vaughan of Kitchener, Carol (Keith) Sharpe of Listowel, Don (Carolyn) Vaughan of Arthur, Edith (Chuck) Hawes of Kingston, and Linda (Ralph) Doupe of Fordwich. Also missed by her sister-in-law Doris White of Alma. Predeceased by parents Ernie (1993) Catherine (1981) father-in-law Howard (1991) Valda (2003) also predeceased by brother and sister in law Art White, and Alvin and Shirley White. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the Dr’s and nurses at Groves Memorial, Guelph General, Hamilton General and In Memoriam Randy and his staff for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. A private service of Jeans life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the diabetes association or the Arthritis association. He Only Takes the Best God saw that she was getting tired, A cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, “Come with Me.” With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer, And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes “the best”.
