I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the members of David's family. He and my father were both in East Moor with 415 Squadron so long ago.

Uncle David was one of my favorite uncles.
He was a bit of a jokester when he was a child, and used to swirl his teaspoon in his hot tea, then hold it to his sister Louise's (my Mother) arm to make her jump. Once, he killed her doll by placing it where the vehicle's tire would run over it. Mom said she would never play with that doll after he had "killed" it. Siblings, sigh. There was one year's difference between them. Despite any trials in their home life, they stood up for each other in the school yard.

I extend my sympathies to David's family. I have not seen David for sometime but remember his many contributions to the Mono Community. David was a 4-H Club Leader for many years when I was involved with the Dufferin 4-H Program. David also was the Leader of what I believe was the first 4-H Apiary Club in Ontario. Many fond memories of David.
