Ryan... I am still in shock about the news. I was so certain that you would get through this... you had such a positive attitude and you were really fighting... trying different methods, and showing tremendous heart every step along the way. Your strength and your character, your ability to remain positive and hopeful and to continue to send messages of love and kindness during, what we know now to be the most difficult time, speaks volumes about the incredible person that you were. I will always remember you as Ryan Benson from Hillside. Always smiling and joking around, always kind and sweet to others. You were a genuine and sincere person and you were always good company. I had not seen you for years... but I could still feel the impact of the positive messages you would send over social media... sharing your excitement about achieving goals and encouraging others to keep a positive attitude, and to stay focused and humble so that they too could feel the excitement and fulfillment of achieving their own goals. You were a good person Ryan and you will be missed by many. I have felt so sad over the last couple of days, I can't even begin to imagine how your family and closest friends are feeling, but I will be praying for them... and I will also be praying to speak directly to you too... to check in from to time, until we see each other again, dear friend. I love you Ryan... thank you for being such an awesome person until the end of your time here... you are a true inspiration and I am so proud to know you.

Hustling peeps at the pool table, to the Texas holdem tables . Working together on private islands and enjoying the boat rides home, water skiing and tubing, living the cottage life and together.. always there for one another .
