Laura, Joan and Family,
We were heartbroken to hear about Lisa. Such a sad loss of a truly beautiful person. We both have such wonderful memories and it was no nice to see how happy she had been lately through the pictures she had posted. We will never forget her infectious smile and heart filled laugh that always followed. Her Celebration of Life was a true testament to how much she was loved by all who crossed her path. Keeping you all close in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Lisa will be forever remembered, never forgotten.
With heartfelt sympathy,

I met Lisa in my second year of teaching at Credit Meadows, and we connected over our love of all things music, and playing the flute, in particular. Such a warm, friendly, lovely person. Sending moments of peace and comfort in this most difficult time. Lisa was a bright light and will be missed by many.

I've just been trying to block this out of my mind and can't even believe it's real!! Lisa was so full of life, love, beauty and song. She was wonderful with children and I know that first hand through her interaction with my kids, personally at Credit Meadows. I also had the privilege of singing "The Messiah" with her several times and it was such an honour to sing alongside her. My heart breaks for Laura - they were each other's world and I can't even imagine life without her. Laura I am so devastated for your loss as well as our loss. If there's ever anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Although I was with Lisa for a very short time as a co-op student at Hyland Heights, she was very memorable. I had just moved to the area with nothing and she made everyone feel like family. She was an amazing listener and fostered so many relationships for me within the school with faculty and students. If it wasn’t for my short time with her I’m not sure I’d be in the profession I’m in today. To Laura although, I never got to meet you your mom spoke so highly of you. You were her world and she always loved telling stories about you. She’ll forever be an inspiring educator and individual. Sending my condolences to all of you.
