Obituary of Sylvia Louise Bye

Bye, Sylvia (Duxbury) In her 75th year sadly passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Loving wife of her late husband Bev Bye. Devoted mother to her daughters Cathy (Mark) Earle, and Jackie Ethier. Proud grandmother to her 6 grandchildren (Jeff, Brad, Travis, Ashley, Michelle and Paige). Sylvia was big sis to Jack (Sue) Duxbury, and Janis Simpson and is survived by her extended Bye family. Sylvia had the most generous heart and touched many lives with her loving presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. We will truly miss this wonderful mother, wife and friend. Sylvia will always be remembered in our hearts. A celebration of Sylvia's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Shelburne on Sunday October 7th from 1-4pm.
