Obituary of Robert Bruce Patten

Robert Bruce Patten, aged 59, sadly passed away at his home south of Shelburne on December 17, 2018. He was born in Orangeville on August 26,1959 to Elgin and Geraldine Patten (both deceased). He was the third child of four children: Kenneth (deceased), Betty and Donald. In 1981, he married Catherine Latter and was the proud father of two children Jeremy and Kevin. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Madison. At an early age Robert discovered his love and fun for adventure. He loved to wake up at the crack of dawn and go visiting his friends or go fishing. As he got older he became a very talented cabinet maker and produced a large number of custom kitchens and many pieces of beautiful furniture. He never lost his love for the outdoors and continued to be a very good fisherman, winning several prizes including an aluminum fishing boat. He also loved to hunt. He proved to be a good hunter and was proud to share his roast venison. He will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Shelburne Legion, 203 William Street, Shelburne, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Singhampton Anglers and Hunters or Sick Kids Hospital. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Patten Family.
