We all know Derrick as a very friendly, polite,
Soft spoken, genuine nice guy....
He had the biggest heart , he would give you his last dollar if you needed it.
When we take him out , witch he really loved his Hot chicken Sandwich at Swiss Chalet he would always say thank you thank you thank you ( three times fast) ..We would drop Derrick off after dinner he would say, thank you for caring...
That was just how he was.
When our mom passed it was so hard for Derrick.
Derrick said to me on that day -I lost a mom & my best friend.
He felt alone. We as a family tried very hard to fill that void.
Well Derrick you know longer have to feel alone.
