It was just brought to my attention that Bob passed away.
I am so sad to learn that!
My first memory when I saw this photo was of a sweet little boy who had come into class, perhaps Grade 3, with broken glasses.
He was crying, not because his glasses were broken but because his Mom would be so upset.
Yes, he broke them more than once.
I spent a great deal of time in the Johnston home as a young girl and loved every minute.
Bob’s twin, Barb, was my best friend and I am sad to say I have not kept up.
My condolences go out to Bob’s entire family.
Each member was hard working, kind, fun and still in my heart!
